Hello!
I'm Tamás
a freelance Visual & Brand Designer based in Hungary
(originally from Transylvania, Romania)
My background is rooted in engineering: I hold a degree in automation and applied informatics and spent over 5 years in web development, including a year as a team leader. This technical foundation taught me to think in systems—a mindset I apply directly to branding. A strong identity isn't just a logo; it's a cohesive system where every element serves the bigger picture.
In 2020, I fully transitioned to design, merging my analytical background with creative execution to build visually powerful, strategically sound brand identities.
Strategy, storytelling, and execution
What I do
I focus on complete brand identity design, spanning logos, visual systems, web, and print. Thanks to my technical background, my approach always balances striking aesthetics with true functionality.
My experience
I've worked across diverse sectors and styles—from tech and engineering brands to environmental and cultural initiatives, ranging from playful identities to refined, premium ones. This versatility makes me highly adaptable. I quickly grasp what makes a brand unique, an approach that has also helped me win several design competitions and tenders along the way.
How I work
Design is a collaborative process. I work closely with clients—as an independent partner or seamlessly within a team—to develop brand strategies that authentically reflect who they are. My goal is to design systems that feel natural, consistent, and memorable.
Tools I work with
I rely on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for visual identity, After Effects for motion, Figma for web and layout design, and Framer for seamless web development. I also integrate AI-based tools to accelerate exploration and production, always ensuring they support the core strategy and elevate the final quality.
From idea to identity
A simple, collaborative process from first conversation to final files.
